On the Frontlines With General Kellogg

Weatherman Foundation Hosts Lt. General Keith Kellogg in Ukraine

Over the last two weeks, our ground team, along with Foundation President and Vice President Meaghan Mobbs and Robert McCreary, hosted Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg across Ukraine. Because of our notable presence in hard-to-reach areas, Lt. General Kellogg was able to travel with us from Odessa to Kharkiv and as far east as Izyum. Along the way, we met with government and military officials, visited frontlines hospitals and shelters, and provided a general situational awareness of human rights abuses and overall impact of the war on everyday Ukrainians.

General Kellogg was also able to witness our teams in action and the incredible resilience of the Ukrainian people throughout this war. We’re proud to stand alongside our local partners and provide support to them because, in the words of Lt. General Kellogg:

“Helping Ukraine win is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to reset the world stage.”

We couldn’t agree more. Watch footage from Lt. General Kellogg’s recent report of what he saw on the ground on “Your World: Cavuto” by clicking the button below.

Caring for Families in Dnipro

With your support, we were able to quickly supply this shelter in Dnipro, where 74 people, 27 of which are children, live — many due to losing their homes in the recent attacks. Basics, such as milk, canned foods, hygiene products, baby supplies and toys are keeping their spirits up!

Insulin for Life Sends Hundreds of Doses to Mykolaiv

Utilizing our cold chain abilities, Americares has sent another shipment of insulin through the Tulcea Humanitarian Logistics Hub. This particular shipment will go out to hospitals in dire need near Mykolaiv - one of Ukraine’s active frontlines.

The Snow Has Arrived!

Snow has begun to pile up around the Tulcea Humanitarian Logistics Hub in the last couple weeks. We’re grateful for Viorel (right) and the rest of our Hub team who remain committed to clearing the way for trucks to come in and out safely.

More to share

Because of you, these smiling faces are receiving hope in the midst of a hard winter and even harder war. Over the past month, your support — and the support of donations from the EU’s French and Spanish Civil Protection — allowed us to work together with local partners throughout Ukraine, like "Resolute Hearts," to bring food, shelf-safe milk, medicine, winter clothes, more to hospitals, shelters, elderly care homes, and orphanages throughout Ukraine.
