The RT Weatherman evacuation team is permanently stationed in Ukraine and, upon notification, immediately travels to second-line hospitals to directly interface with patients, doctors, hospital administrators to ensure that the time from point of injury to definitive care is as minimal as possible.

“The Ukrainians did the best they could, but I firmly believe that if it weren’t for the Weatherman Foundation, who evacuated me to Landstuhl, I would have been in a far off worse condition. At the American hospital, I was given first class medical care and able to keep as much of my hand as possible.
The American doctors were also able to maintain my
quality of life by installing titanium plates in my jaw bones rather than what the Ukrainian doctors proposed which was to keep my jaw wired shut for 6 to 12 months.
So, I am immensely grateful to the Weatherman Foundation, not just to get me to Germany, but to give me the reassurance that I was in the best hands as possible. I can say it a million times and it won’t be enough.”
